TEACHING ARTISTS

      ArtsBank strives to hire the best qualified artists who are experienced as teachers. When placing teaching artists, we consider the schools requests, and the artist’s preferred medium, education, and experience. Then, we match the teaching artist's workshops to the current needs of the students and schools.

Teaching artists frequently work with the classroom teachers to enhance and integrate school or class themes and ideas from the core class lessons into the art experiences.
